Elastics Braided into a Messy Bun | Q's Hairdos

This is a great summer style since it stays put really well!

1. Start with a center part
2. Take a two inch diagonal section from the part line to the hairline
3. Secure with an elastic
4. Take another two inch diagonal section parallel to the first and secure with an elastic
5. Take a third section parallel to the second and secure with an elastic
6. Repeat on the opposite side
7. Secure the rest of the hair in a low center ponytail leaving the small ponytails out
8. Braid each small ponytail to the end and secure to the main ponytail
9. Add a messy bun by taking another elastic (sometimes I double up the elastic)
10. Pull the ponytail through the elastic one time
11. Then leave the elastic on your fingers while you split the pony in half
12. Take the top half and curl it upwards while holding in place with your top finger
13. Take the bottom half and curl it under while holding in place with your thumb
14. Pull the remaining elastic over the two curled sections
15. Now curl the ends and put them back through the elastic a section at a time
16. Add a bow!
