- With slightly damp hair use a comb starting in the middle.
- Without lifting the comb off of the head, move it in a zig zag movement towards the back of the crown.
- When you reach the back, slowly pull the comb upwards.
- Grab the hair on the left side of the comb and pull it towards the left side of the head to split the hair.
- If part of the zig zag didn't go as you wanted it, just start at that point and repeat.
- Carefully comb the hair to either side.
- On the right side of the head, part off the crown section. About 3 inches wide.
- Secure with an elastic in the back corner.
- Use spray gel )linked below) to tame any fly aways.
- Repeat on the left side securing with an elastic in the back corner.
- Brush the rest of the hair into a ponytail in the desired location.
- Secure with an elastic, leaving out the two small ponies.
- Split the right ponytail in half.
- Use spray gel and water to tame fly aways before twisting the hair.
- Twist each section to the right and cross to the left.
- Continue twisting to the right and crossing to the left until you reach the main ponytail.
- Clip the rope braid to the ponytail while repeating the rope braid on the left side.
- Split in half.
- Twist to the right and cross to the left.
- Secure both rope braids to the ponytail with an elastic.
- If desired, curl the ponytail.
- Add a bow!
