Flipped Side Pony | Q's Hairdos

A simple style that looks more complicated than it is! This cute side ponytail took us about 10 minutes. The key to getting this look is using the Topsy Tail tool.
  1. I started this style with dry hair and a side part.
  2. Section off the crown and secure with an elastic.
  3. Take the Topsy Tail tool (which I will link below) put the pointed end down into the ponytail.
  4. Put the ponytail through the loop and pull downwards.
  5. Adjust the hair for the desired look, or simply leave it for a more slicked back look.
  6. Take another 2-3 inch section about an inch above the ear all the way around the head.
  7. Brush this hair to the side of the head underneath the first flip.
  8. Secure with an elastic.
  9. Take the Topsy Tail tool again and put the pointed end down through the pony.
  10. Put the ponytail through the loop and pull downwards.
  11. Repeat this one more time with the remaining hair.
  12. Secure the hair with an elastic and pull the hair through the Topsy Tail tool.
  13. Take another elastic and secure the pony a few inches down from the last elastic.
  14. Put two fingers through the back of the ponytail, splitting it in half.
  15. Pull the ponytail through the middle of itself.
  16. Pull at the sides of this faux fishtail to loosen it up especially at the bottom.
  17. Repeat two to three more times, or until you reach the end of the ponytail.
