We spent the 4th of July weekend in New York City. On the first day we visited Central Park in the morning. We loved noticing all the places we have seen in the movies we watched while growing up.
Turtle Pond was so fun. I've never seen so many turtles. We even saw a cute little baby one. Quincy loved all of it.
After a quick nap:
We took the train to Grand Central Station, it was such a cool place to visit. Just thinking about how many people have been through that station and all of the history there.
We then walked to the New York Public Library, which unfortunately was closed because of the holiday weekend.
| Rockefeller Center was all decked out for the holiday. |
Our last stop on day one was to Carlo's Bake Shop, where we bought a delicious cupcake and cannoli mmmm.
It was a long day full of walking. Let's just say we slept good that night!
