Ice Castles and Sledding

I have been so excited to share this new video with you. It is something I have been wanting to do for a while. I want to be more intentional about filming my family and doing something with the quality videos rather than just letting them sit on my phone or camera. I hope you enjoy our first little family home video/vlog.

Leo Carillo

Our time at Leo Carillo was well... sandy. I mean obviously we were at the beach. But it was rather chilly and windy. The wind blew the sand into every little crevice it possibly could. Quincy was buried in the sand by her uncle, so she obviously had the most sand. We loved spending the day with family. Watching cousins play is just too fun. Wish we could go back right now. I wouldn't even care if I brought a gallon of sand home in my hair again. It would be worth it.

Santa Monica

Beach days are my favorite. It wasn't hot, but it was warm enough to be in swimsuits for part of it (if you are me) or all of it (if you are Quincy and Jordan.) Lucy took a nice little nap. She fell asleep in my arms for the first time in a long time. Then we laid her down under the umbrella. Jordan dug her a little bed in the sand, which we covered with a towel. She looked as snug as a bug. Quincy played and played. In the sand and in the water. Then dumping the water on the sand. You know, typical beach things. She was in heaven. We all were in heaven.

Bear Lake

We had such a good time at Bear Lake over the weekend. My brother and his wife live in Logan and so we were able to stay with them for three nights. Thanks you two! We had a fun time spending some quality time with them that we don't often have. On Friday we drove to the lake that morning and spent the day. Jordan brought our tent, and it was seriously the best! Kept Lucy out of the sun for the most part, and an easy place to keep most of the sand out! He is brilliant... but I knew that already :) It was my first time on a paddle board. My uncle let us borrow them, thanks Clark! We had a ton of fun! On the way out of town we had to stop at La Beau's Too and pick up a raspberry shake! And you bet we did the exact same thing on Saturday! Below you will find Lucy covered in sand, me helping Jordan catch his balance, Quincy playing in the sand with Uncle Izach and Aunt Kaylee, and a few cute hairdos to keep Quincy's hair out of her face at the beach!
