Braided Bun with Flips | Q's Hairdos

Love this simple style that stays in really well! Perfect for dance and summer activities.

We started with damp hair and sprayed it with gel. Link to buy below.

1. With a deep left part we took a diagonal 2 inch section from the partline to the hairline. 
2. Secure with an elastic.
3. Take the Topsy Tail (linked below) and put the pointed end through the top of the pony, pull downwards. If you need help, I will link our tutorial on how to use the Topsy Tail below as well.
4. Take another 2 inch diagonal section securing the first ponytail with the second
5. Use the Topsy Tail again with the pointed end down and pull the hair through.
6. Again take a 2 inch diagonal section and secure the second pony with the third.
7. Repeat with the Topsy Tail for the last time.
8. Braid the ponytail and clip out of the way.
9. Secure the rest of the hair into a side ponytail sitting below the ponytail above.
10. Secure the braid to the lower ponytail.
11. Braid all of the hair in a regular 3 strand braid.
12. Twist the braid around itself at the base and tuck the ends in.
13. Using about 4 bobby pins, secure the braid to the hair at the base of the bun.
14. Add a bow!
