Quick Summer Styles | Q's Hairdos

Three styles starting with the same three flips in front. Each of these styles took us 5-10 minutes. I love that they stay in really well, perfect for any summer activity. Please remember to use sunscreen in the part lines and cut the elastics out at the end of the day. Happy Summer!

Three Flips:

1. Part off a 2 inch by 3 inch section in the middle crown section. 
2. Secure with an elastic. 
3. Take the Topsy Tail tool (http://amzn.to/2sz8lPa) and put the pointed end through the top of the ponytail underneath the elastic.
4. Put the ponytail through the Topsy Tail and pull downwards.
5. Repeat with two other sections on either side of this first ponytail.

Style #1 Three Flips into a Messy Bun

1. After completing the three flips, secure all of the hair into a ponytail in desired location. (for a slower tutorial on how to do our messy bun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzNotxlL-_4)
2. Grab a second elastic (or even double up the elastics for this part)
3. Wrap the elastic around once, then keep it on your fingers as you split the hair in half
4. Hold the top half of the ponytail with your top finger
5. Hold the bottom half of the ponytail with your thumb
6. Then pull the remaining elastic over top of those two buns you just made
7. Now pull the ends until the buns are the height you want them to be
8. Take the ends and curl them as you pull the ends through the elastic again
9. You may need to pull the ends through twice depending on the length of the hair
10. Adjust the ends until you like where they are sitting.
11. Add a bow!

Style #2 Three Flips into Pigtail Braids

1. After completing the three flips, part the hair down the center in the back.
2. A trick that works well for me to get the part line straight is to put my finger at the center of the nape and bottom of the hairline, then take the comb from the middle at the top to my finger. It helps me guide the comb a little easier.
3. Secure the hair into pigtails and braid each one to the end!
4. Add ribbons by pulling one part of the elastic out and pulling the ribbon through, then tie to keep them in place better.

Style #3 Three Flips into a Bubble Braid

1. After completing the three flips, secure all of the hair into a ponytail in desired location.
2. Secure the hair in another elastic about two to three inches down.
3. Pull at the hair between the two elastics until desired bubble is formed
4. Again secure the hair in an elastic about two to three inches down
5. Pull at the hair between the bottom two elastics to bubble.
6. Repeat until the bottom of the hair is reached.
7. Add a bow!
