Boho Braided Messy Bun 2 Styles in 1 | Q's Hairdos

  1. Start with dry hair and a center part.
  2. Section off the front two inches of hair from the part line to the ear.
  3. Clip the back section out of the way.
  4. Add a little bit of water and spray gel which I will link below.
  5. Take the top half and add some Braid Aid which I will also link below.
  6. Start a simple three strand braid to the end of the strand and clip out of the way.
  7. Take the bottom half of the front section leaving the ear covered with hair.
  8. Add more Braid Aid and three strand braid to the end. 
  9. Clip the braid towards the back.
  10. Repeat on the left side.
  11. Section off the front two inches from the part line to the ear.
  12. Add a little bit of water and spray gel.
  13. Take the top half and add some Braid Aid.
  14. Three strand braid to the end of the strand.
  15. Take the top braid on both sides and secure together in the back with an elastic
  16. Take the bottom half of the front section leaving the ear covered with hair.
  17. Add more Braid Aid and three strand braid to the end. 
  18. Secure this bottom braid with the other bottom braid at the back of the head.
  19. Also secure these braids with the ponytail end of the top braids. Securing all 4 braids together.
  20. Take the hair right underneath these braids and about an inch behind the ears.
  21. Braid this section including the micro braids.
  22. Secure with an elastic.
  23. Take one little part of the elastic and hold it with your fingers of one hand while wrapping a small section of hair around the elastic above where you are holding it.
  24. Now secure that hair with the elastic by wrapping the elastic around it once.
  25. Adjust the hair to cover the elastic.
  26. Gently pull at each stitch of the braid until you have the desired look.
Messy Bun

  2. Secure all of the hair in an elastic.
  3. Leaving a few strands out to frame the face, which we will curl later.
  4. Taking another elastic, wrap it around the hair a few times, then leave it on your fingers.
  5. Split the hair in half top and bottom.
  6. Fold the top half upwards and hold with your finger.
  7. Fold the top half down and hold with your thumb.
  8. Pull the elastic over top of these two folds.
  9. Now take the ends of the hair and curl them back in towards the elastic.
  10. Put the ends through the elastic and adjust until you have the desired look.
