- We love this detangler by Monat. Comment below for a discount, or purchase at the link in the description.
- Start with a side part and slightly damp hair in the crown section.
- Section off the front half from the back of the crown down just behind the ear. Clip the back half out of the way.
- Take a one inch diagonal section at the part line and split in half.
- Cross the front piece over top of the back piece.
- Add a one inch section to the front piece and cross over top of the back.
- Grab another one inch section. I like to use this brush to help smooth the hair.
- Add the section to the front piece and cross over top of the back.
- Continue until the entire front section is in the braid.
- When there is not any more hair to add in, simply twist both sections towards the front and cross over towards the back. Do that a few times and then clip out of the way.
- Now on the other side of the face we will grab a one inch section and cross the front piece over top of the back piece.
- Add hair to the front and cross over top of the back.
- Repeat until all of the hair is added in.
- Take both braids and cross the front one over top of the back to secure both with an elastic.
- Add a bow like this one from www.labellebabybows.etsy.com
