Since chopping off my hair, I have been playing with shorter hairstyles. These are 5 of my go to super quick and simple styles!

Style 1

I have previously dried and curled my hair, a tutorial for that will be coming soon.
I start by adding some dry shampoo (linked below)
Let it sit for about 30 seconds then gently shake your hair through your fingers to loosen it up.
Part off a 3 inch section on one side of the part line (the side with less hair)
Start twisting the hair towards the back of the head.
Gently tug at the hair to give more height at the crown.
While holding the twist against the head, secure the twist with a bobby pin placing it parallel to the ground.

Style 2

Similar to style one but take a 1-2 inch section of hair instead.
Start twisting the hair towards the back of the head.
While holding the twist against the head, secure the twist with a bobby pin placing it parallel to the ground.
Take another 1-2 inch section just below the first and repeat by twisting and securing with a bobby pin.

Style 3

Take a one inch section next to the part line on the side with more hair
Split the hair into two.
Cross the front piece over top of the back piece.
Add a one inch section to the front piece.
Cross over top of the back piece.
Continue adding hair to the front piece and crossing over top of the back piece until you have reached the side of the head leaving about 1 inch of hair covering the ear.
Now simply twist both strands towards the front and cross over top of each other towards the back.
Keep twisting and crossing without adding hair until you have reached the end of the strands.
Secure with an elastic.
Gently tug at each stitch moving down the rope braid until you have the desired look.

Style 4

This style is a continuation of the previous rope braid.
Take the rope braid and pull it towards the back.
Secure with two bobby pins in an 'x' shape.
On the opposite side of the head, take a 2-3 inch section of hair.
Twist the hair towards the back.
Keep twisting until the strand is twisted to the end.
Put the twist across the top and through the rope braid that is secured.
Secure the twist with two bobby pins as well.
Gently tug at the twist to loosen it up a bit for the desired look.

Style 5

Take the crown section and tease the hair (brush is linked below)
Then gently smooth out the top without brushing out all of the volume.
Secure the crown section with an elastic at the back of the section.
Take another elastic and add our signature messy bun (tutorial linked below)
Wrap the elastic around a few times, then while keeping it on your fingers,
Split the pony into two.
Fold the top piece up and hold with your finger.
Curl the bottom piece down and hold with your thumb.
Take the elastic and pull it over top of the hair forming two buns.
Now take the long pieces and curl them in towards the buns and tuck them into the elastic.
